Start Button Issue, have to hit twice
Hey guys .. need some help or someone to point me in the right direction ...
getting a remote starter installed and this issue s causing a lot of problems .. never thought twice about it until i got another A6 and that is starting differently ...
i have a video if you guys want to watch and that it will help get an idea ..
i get to the car and i hit the break and usually hitting the button once will turn on the ignition and MMI and start the engine as well .. but hitting it once, only does everything but starting the engine, then hitting the button again will start the engine ...
Here it is .. and Vag Com as well ... can someone help??

Below is the vag too .. if i need to copy and paste let me know.
this is a 2012 Audi A6 ... with start stop but premium plus so no Kessy ... as in unlock on approach of the car with the handles ...

Your fob's battery maybe low. I had this issue when my fob's battery was going. Next time you get in the car hold the key next to the area designated for battery on the center console and see if it works - if it does then the battery is gone or going.
