Sway Bars

Jack is correct. My research and past experience is the same - a front anti-roll bar doesn't do much, if anything at all. Driving into a turn, the car's center of gravity is transferred to the left or right rear corner where the tendency to roll is most pronounced.

"I've been working with Jack at Stasis and he sent me a C7A6 rear sway bar to try on the S6. The Stasis bar is 25.4mm while the stock is 20.7mm per ETKA. I measured 20.89mm using my digital calipers".

From ETKA
4G0 511 305 G / PR-1BA (standard) 19.6mm $181
4G0 511 305 E / PR-1BR (comfort) 17.3mm
4G0 511 305 D / PR-1BE, PR-1BV (sport) 20.7mm $165
The PR-1BR model code seems to be tied to older models as well as the nomenclature "rough road equipment", whatever that means.
*edit1* more info from the C7 study guide:

Ok, figured it out, the 17.3MM RSB is for the "Heavy duty" suspension which is also listed as "Comfort" in the field where "standard" and "Sports" are listed. The comfort part makes sense to me but not the HD part, I would think a heavy duty suspension would utilize a larger RSB...

So, if I decoded the last two posts correctly, the U.S. A6 standard non-sport uses a 19.6mm and the A6 w/Sport pkg and S6 use the 20.7mm. The Stasis ASB is 25.3mm.
Sound right?
Also, I wonder if there is ANY increased stiffness to ride comfort with the Statis ASB over the A6 w/sport pkg or S6 stock? My experience was with my non-Sport 2001 A6. I added an Audi OEM sport pkg ASB and while handling was vastly improved, there was no degradation in ride. However, I went from something like an 18mm to 21mm ASB as I recall. Not sure what going to a 25.3mm from 20.7mm would do to the ride on the A6 Sport.

Perhaps Jack@Stasis can chime in with some further info on the ride characteristics.
Final question: i read your thread on the install and I presume you did it yourself. Since I'm of the non-DIY persuasion when it come to car mechanicals, short of calling them, any idea what an Audi/Stasis dealer might charge for an install? (There's no indy Stasis dealer anywhere near me).
