Default Trade-in PODS recall for a newer Audi

I read somewhere and cannot find the info. I recall that Audi will add another $2000 to your trade in value for a New Audi. I have a 17 A6 that is affected by this recall and considering S6. Anyone recall this info? If so, is it still good?
Thx.

Sounds like some dealership BS to me to drum up some sales. How do you even know they're "adding another $2k"? Trade-in values are highly subjective.

Im guessing no one remembers. I first heard of it from one of the forums. Then I confirmed it reading it on the Audi USA site under financing. Because this offer applied to me, I remember it, I just did not bookmark the page or copy/paste it. I should have. I don't see this offer any more. The wording was something similar to "if your model is affected by the Audi safety campaign 74D5, you are eligible for $2000 added to your trade in value for a new Audi." So I looked up 74D5 and it was the PODS recall. I think this was before the repair was out. I can only think they offered this so that people would upgrade their cars knowing the fix was not out yet and so the owner is not stuck with it. It was an incentive, but I do not know if its offered anymore. Since I cannot find the info, they must have stopped this offer. Believe me, I would not post this question if I never saw it or confirmed it. It was not dealership bs, it was Audi USA offer. It did not matter what the dealer give you in trade in, Audi adds $2K, not the dealer. I saw this offer when I was thinking of getting a 19 A6, probably back in Sept 18.

Ok, I think I found the answer. What was happening was Audi increased the Loyalty incentive from $1000 to $2000 if you financed. Here is the link and its mentioned on posts #23,28

Now that there is a fix, there is no more additional loyalty credit.
