Default Traffic Sign Recognition

I am new to this forum, I just got my A6, but had an A4 until then, so I spent my time on the A4 forum. Anyway, using the Kufatec dongle, I put Traffic Sign Recognition on my A4 and really loved it. My A6 has about every option except Traffic Sign Recognition. Id like to put it on my A6, but my dealer said it was not available for the A6. Reading this board for the little time that I have been here, it looks like some people either have put it on or are trying to put it on. I looked at the Kufatec site and they do have a dongle for the A6, but in their notes on the dongle they note that after installing the dongle you still have to do some coding. Of course, they do not list the coding for it. I know that to add TSR you have to "paramerize" your front camera and the OBDeleven is not capable of doing that. I assume that the dongle does the "parameterization" and then you have to code it with the OBDeleven. However, I am not sure at all and I could have it all wrong. Has anyone done this or does anyone have any more information on this?

I tried this a year ago with no response, but I will float it out there again now and see if there are any updates. The Kufatec dongle now says it covers USA 4G cars. But Kufatec themselves seem a little confused with one tech telling me it “should work” and one saying that it doesn’t cover my car even though the item description says it does.

Default TSR via Kufatec

I'm working on this with Kufatec for my 2016 A5 (7C 4G) in the US. Dongle didn't work for my car on first try, even though advertised for US and 4G model. Kufatec tells me the dongle is coded for a different camera than the one I have. To recode the dongle they are looking for a VIN number for a US spec 4G that has traffic sign recognition. Can anyone give me such a VIN, or otherwise have any ideas? Otherwise, this may be a dead end/refund situation.

My A6 is equipped with a 4H0 907 107H camera. The Kufatec Dongle for the US region C7 4G currently only supports
4G0 907 107 x cameras (x = different indexes). Kufatec willing to recode dongle for my camera but apparently need a VIN for a US spec 4G that came with Traffic sign recognition...

I was under the impression that that option wasn’t even available for 2016, 2017 and 2018, from the factory????

That's right; no North America C7/7.5s ever had traffic sign recognition; so such a thing doesn't exist.
