Hi, so far I didn't, I'm still working the coding with the guys at Kufatec, since this is an American model it looks like the coding is a problem. Tomorrow morning they will try again (Last week they were on vacation ;-)

Did you do so on a US spec 16' A6? I'd love to find a dongle to enable VIM on my 16' A6. Haven't seen any confirmation that anyone has done so yet. I'd love to play my DVD-Audio discs in my car. I have several I'd like to listen to.. If anyone in the USA has done this with their 16' A6, please let me know.

Wow, I'd probably do it, but I don't have an Android phone. Wish they'd have an ios app. They're eliminating like half of potential buyers without one. And there's no risk of messing anything using that device? Unless of course you do something stupid (like change a setting w/o knowing what you're doing).

I agree, but I just went out and got a used samsung tablet for like 100$ on ebay, one advantage is I finally have a tablet that my daughter wont use lol. As far as risk, I dont think you can mess anything up. The app takes care of everything, just make sure you run the app VIM for MIB.

Quick bump to see if any “new” news on VIM for MY 2016? 6CHICAGO, were you able to resolve things with Kufatec and get up and running on the Traffic Signs?

OBD Eleven supports VIM and many other hacks for the A6 FL models. Works great for me.

Kufatec worked for me. I tried obdeleven but was getting some error messages on the MMI.
