Default VAG recoding ... remote window operation question

All,

I did search on this subject on this and other forums but can not figure this out. So please help...

As you can see in the Picture 1, I did turn everything on in the block 46. I then turned on window down funstion for front and rear windows in MMI.
I can roll windows up, but still can not roll them down.

I followed the following link from C6 forum to see if this helps:
https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2811665

The only thing i got to work is the Driver's window down when i added 1 to the value listed in picture 2. Other windows still do not roll down with remote.

Picture 3, I tried adding values for all 4 windows, still no change.

check your math....

You have 12289, which is 8192 + 4096 + 1. The 4096 says 'drivers door only'.
The 1 is selective lock (which doesn't matter for this).

Subtract out the 4096, program 8193. Add whatever option you like for the sunroof.

I read the wrong line... we're even. I read the '1' (selective lock) from the last figure in my previous post when commenting on the middle figure (1 is windows via remote). The result still holds... subtract the 4096 and you should be fine. In my car, I added the 'power windows via door locks' option. That way, you can hold the button on the door handles (as if locking the car, but keep holding) and it will close the windows. It's very convenient. So, I have 8199.

Mike,

Thank you very much for your help. Everything works now. I used 8193 for all 4 windows and sunroof via remote.
Again, thanks a lot.

Two more items that i did not get to work:

Enable Battery meter
[Hidden menu] [car] [cardevextdevicelist] [Battery] Enable
[Hidden menu] [car] [carmenuoperation] [Battery] Set to 5
Reset MMI
or
[56 - Radio] -> Adaption -> Channel 39, add 16 to your value
I enabled everything in the Hidden Menu and do not knwo where to see Battery display. I tried module 56 and Channel 39 is not active

Disable "Lights are on" Warning
[09 – Cent. Elect.] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 5
Bit 3 - Set to 0 to disable "lights are on" warning when you open the door.
This option is not available in C7 A6. any ideas?

Than you

ellisinA4: do you know how to get to the "Hidden Menu" in the C7 A6?

I have enabled it through the VAG-COM, but do not know how to get to it

Hidden Menu: Press and hold both "Menu" + "Car" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

You have to press car and menu at the same time. It usually takes a few attempts to get it.

Could someone please let me know what value to use to bring the windows down and open the sunroof from the remote in a 2015 C7 US specs?

Closing works for me but thought I tried, opening doesn't. My default value is 12289 on that same screen.

[46 - Cent. Conv.]
[Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] ->
Or Check the box for "Comfort Operation: Remote Control active"

Once you have checked the box and saved your new settings with VCDS, an extra menu item will appear in the MMI car settings. Press the CAR button and look under Car Systems>Vehicle Settings>Central locking. You need to set the "open" settings.
