Volume "Unavailable"

Just drove 40 miles and I had a "volume unavailable" pop-up if I changed the audio volume from the knob or the steering wheel control. My default volume is 6 but after about 35 miles both controls started working normally.
I was going to reset the MMI at my destination but I didn't have to. I am not accustomed to "glitches" fixing themselves and I don't remember forums posting anything about this issue.

Whoever wrote the software for this forums search function wouldn't even get a job serving donuts to a parking attendant at Google.

Well, heck, instead of complaining and deriding the web designers, why don't you do some coding to improve it and submit it to IB? Surely they would appreciate it.

For the same reason that I would not expect them to help me in my profession. They, in theory, write code, I don't.

If anyone on this forum thinks that the search engine is good then they may say so, just as I have the same right to voice my opinion. Besides, it is quite likely that the code writers think that they have done a great job because complacency on the part of its users has never given them input as to the performance of their efforts.

I'm sure they appreciate your as usual constructive comments.

Not trying to derail this further but every forum search I have ever used sucked, use google. Just add "site:AudiWorld.com" to what ever you are searching, it will only pull results from that site then.

Many thanks Pothole, I too have found that most forum searches(not just AudiWorld) are virtually useless. Tried this on an Audi question that I had, and the answer was easily revealed. Great suggestion!
