What LED brightness do you have????
Hey,
Since I changed the brightness of my facelift A6 C7 from 26% to 45%, I was wondering what brightness everyone else has? I really haven't seen my car driving later in the afternoon to see how much brighter the LEDs are.
It seems like the LEDs on the new Dodge Chargers are pretty bright...
Just curious....
Thanks

I assume you are talking about the DRL LEDs. If so, and you are talking about the coding, changing the percentage only affects the DRLs when the headlights are on, not when they are off. When the headlights are off, the DRLS are at 100% brightness and when the headlights are on they drop down to 25% as the default. Changing the coding to more than 40% or so at night will be too bright combined with the headlights and can dazzle oncoming drivers. I changed mine to 40%.

Which LEDS? DRLs or headlights? All C7 A6 Premium Plus and Prestige have had LED DRLs. Easy to tell by looking at them - instead of several bulbs the LED DRLs will look like a continuous strip of light using the smaller LEDs. LED headlights were available as an option. Also easy to tell by looking at the headlights. If pre-MY2016, they will be a line of small square LED lamps vs. a large round lamp. Google DRL and LED headlights for photos.

This will allow you to change the intensity of the DRL LED's when your headlights are on. By default the LED's are only 8-9% or brightness.
[09 – Cent. Elect.] [Security Access - 16] (enter security code). One of the default codes is- 20113)
[Adaptation - 10] -> Channel 3 .
Enter new value for LED brightness i.e. "100" If you want LED's at 100%.
Do it or Save.
Note: Values bellow 5 turns the LED's off and generates an error code and warning in DIS. It's best not to exceed 40% or you will "dazzle" oncoming drivers and will get "high beam flashed".
