Default 2019 a6 questions

I just bought a new 2019 a6 and have a couple of questions

1- for some reason i cannot adjust the ringtone volume from the MMI, It says must come from the phone
2- my other car is a mercedes and beeps with all kinds of warnings, but the new a6 doesn't. i.e blindspot, to close to car in front, etc.
3- under the hd headlights are 2 lights that are used to flash brights for incoming traffic and stay on for a period of time after everything else in the car has turned off

this is my first audi and any helps with these questions would be appreciated. the car is great and I love it and know there is nothing wrong with it, just different to what I'm used to

Thanks again and please help

audi's don't beep for blindsport, only visual cue from the mirror housings.

To close to the car ahead of you is a warning light on the dash, again, no audbile

ringtone volume idk to be honest, I can look when I'm back

not understanding your headlight question?

The HUD, if you have that, will also have a visual cue if following to close

Default thanks

1 - The lights I am referring to are actually the lights that you flash for oncoming traffic below the matrix lights. At night they stay on for a while when the engine is turned off even after the main headlights turn off
2 - The volume in the car to adjust ringtone and call notification are greyed out.

Again thanks

You can change the ring volume from the phone only. I normally put it about off to half volume before plugging into the car USB port. Even at zero ring tone you still get a visual on the MMI and that is fine by me... You can change call volume with the wheel on the right side of the steering wheel (I am sure you know this but posting for others as well).

Appreciate different markes have different versionsof the software but in Europe if you go into the Telephone Settings menu (Select telehone from the side icons then the "Cog Wheel") you then have a sub menu for Ringtones and Volume Settings from where you can adjsuty the ringtome. Also you may be able to adjust it by changing the volume with either of the volume control ***** while the phone is ringing

On playing with the car last night it seems, for the iPhone at least, that when the phone is connected via bluetooth control of ring tone and ring tone volume transfers to the phone. I guess the option in the MMI is for when you are using a SIM in the slot in the arm rest
