I am experiencing a bug with Google Maps on Carplay. After you exit destination navigation, the screen reverts back to the destination navigation overview screen. On that screen, there is supposed to be a "back" arrow in the upper left corner, to go back to the basic map (not destination navigation) screen. It is not there. The only way to get there is to pick up my phone and open the app.

Anyone else having this problem?

I am trying to determine if it is my head unit, my iphone, my version of IOS, or the Google Maps app.

I am in the US. iPhone X. IOS 12.2 beta 5

not seen that. We use WAZE app,and it works great. I find google maps to slow and does not assist with alternative routing like WAZE does...
