"Rubbing/ Creeking"sound from steering column
Sometimes while turning (>90 deg)I get a creeking/rubbing sound from the steering column. Sounds as if something needs oil/lubrication in the steering column.
Any ideas what it might be. Car runs straight.

Spiral Spring ?
Try the spiral spring that connects the steering wheel controls and airbag behind the steering wheel. Typically replaced rather than lubricated. Don't fool with it if you aren't familiar w/ working w/ airbag assemblies since you would need to remove the steering wheel first.

nope - have them....
...look at it at the next service (assuming it is still under warranty). Both of mine (my old A6 and my S6) gave off a little, barely audible creak on some turns.....
