"So Long A6"... Or: "Drunk Drivers Piss Me Off!"

My A6 met with an untimely demise on Saturday evening. A girl that apparently began her St. Patrick's Day festivities a bit early (as evidenced by the .24 BAC she blew) ran a red light at around 60 MPH and smacked me. No official estimate yet, but it's pretty clear it's a goner (frame is well shifted, car puked all kinds of fluids, and the tranny is totally siezed).
All in all, I'm pretty lucky, though. Nothing broken on me. Just some serious stiffness and soreness in muscles I didn't even know I had.
So now begins the ever fun insurance and potential legal battle. At least she was insured and there's no question to fault.

Sorry for your car, but at least you are around to tell the tale.

wow what a shame, At least you are telling us about it could havebeen far worse

don't count too much on her insurance My daughter was in a wicked accident two years ago, $300,000 in medical bills, The other driver had no assets and his insurance only gave up $35,000. Yes I did get a lawyer and that is how I get that even plus he took 12 G's for his efforts
