01 A6 won't start, could be key problem
lost the original key, had keys made, but at the time the battery was dead. keys were programmed (?), but since the battery was dead at the time there is no way for me to tell if they were done correctly. battery is brand new, but car will not start. HELP!!

If you had new keys made they must be programmed to the car. Dealer or indy-repair shop with VCDS capability. Keys cannot be programmed to a car with a dead battery.
