2.7t ignotion problem
 

so ive been having problems starting my a6 in the morning, i have to crank it a couple of times before it actually starts. after that its starts normally. than after a couple of hours again it does the same thing, like it soo close to starting but its not. could it be a bad ect sensor? btw the check engine light is NOT on.

btw, fuel pump was replaceded and spark plugs have alos been replaced three months ago.

cts? battery? where do you live?

kinda of a noob, whats cts? and bettery is fine checked that out yesterday. i live near lancaster pa

coolant temp sensor... and how do you know if batteyr life is fine? how did you check it out?

yeah im thinking its the coolant temp sensor, i charged the battery overnight and tried it the next morning, same thing.

could be battery . if its old it may have the voltage but not the amperage to drive the starter and ignition..... no amount of charging will get back the lost amps

im gonna change the cts tommarow if that wont fix it i'll get a new batery.

bad cts makes it NOT start when warm, also would prob have check engine light
