2001 Audi A6 cabin air filter location
 
I have 2001 Audi A6 and i whant to know where i can find cabin air filter when i need to change because when i start AC is smell bad and i understand this filter can be the problem.

Filter may be bad but more likely you have mold and mung on the evaporator coil. Get a can of foaming evaporator cleaner and use it. Google it or try your local autostore.
Also, some of the early A6s used a strange size filter..check yours and measure it before you buy a new one...

i would be checking to make sure the Ac drain is working properly ... i seriously doubt it is the cabin filter . i would disinfect as mentioned above but make sure your drain is working first.

Great point. Is your floor wet? If it isn't, that points toward a working drain….
