3.0L valve cover bolt torque

Called ECS yesterday. Next stop. Didn't think about the loctite but that would make sense since 10NM can't be putting much pressure on the threads. I do know that they were torqued way more than 10NM, or had loctite on the bolts when I first changed it. Got a real good snap trying to loosen each one.

Bringing back from the dead. Anyway good to update this so the 3.0ers have more info.
Anyway, I had same issue as OP. Oil leak near rear driver side of valve cover. Replace VCG and still leaked. Replace again and STILL leak. So then I got a new Valve Cover and used black RTV on lower half of gasket, and oil leak stopped!
The 3.0 have plastic Valve Covers that gets heat soaked and then when it is up to temp it'll warp. So whenever you pull the covers off and check to see if its warped, you cant tell because it has already cooled down. Anyway, hope this help.
