A6 2003 central locking problem - HELP!
#12
I have this issue also
Yep, I'm in the exact same boat... I think that the plastic had come away at the bottom of the windscreen (it needs to remain glued on place) and let water flow directly into the cabin pollen air filter and straight down into the passenger footwell which had ended up under several inches of water. The central locking control unit is under the passenger seat carpet!!! I suspect it's knackered but I've started drying out the carpets, and fixed the leak, today, and will tackle the control unit tomorrow.

One of the posters on here describes a method for drying out a transmission control module (also under the carpet). OCLES is the poster. They are in the Reno, NV area. One of their technicians has a method for drying the module that would probably work for you as well. It is a relatively inexpensive procedure and worth trying before replacing any modules.
