I'm looking at buying an A6. While I don't have enough time to work on cars much any more, I do like being in on the problem diagnosis. This often requires a shop manual.

I haven't asked the dealer yet, but are A6 shop manuals available reasonably? Or are they unavailable to mere mortals or do they cost an arm and a leg?
