Default Aftermarket radio Installation

Hey guys,

Got a RWH-AUD1-HILO Harness w/ a PNP Harness & FM antenna from Enfig. Plugged everything in aaaaaaand nothing. Even tried another radio and same. When I press the CD button I hear it attempting to Eject, so it gets some power, but besides that I have no idea why it wont start up. Completely black on the screen of the unit. Any ideas? Anyone experience this? Do I need to do anything with VCDS? Was hoping it would just work, thats my luck though

Also: I've circled 3 connectors that dont have anywhere to go on this harness. Not sure if thats causing the issue. As far as I know
Red = Nav stuff I dont need
Brown = Ground
Silver = ??

I'm thinking that there is a possibility that the car anti-theft system is preventing you from powering up the new stereo. I have seen on the forum here that that can be the case. Need VAG Com software to reset things to allow the new unit to work.
