get an allroad. That said, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Afterall, hitches are pretty simple

Should be alright, just no 20,000 lb yachts!

I run a Da'Lan hitch on my 2.8 sedan

The hitch is attached to your spare tire well, there's no frame back there to latch on to. As a result of the placement, it's not a very strong hitch and you should be aware of that fact. I only use it to haul my motorcycle to track days (pic above).

The limits are along the lines of 100 lb tongue weight, 1100 lb trailer weight.

The only other downside that I can think of is, I've touched my hitch down on some severe bumps now that my car is lowered.

I had one on my A6, I'll sell it and the wiring harness to you...if you want to do the install.

I had a local RV dealer install my hitch.

I removed the rear bumper cover with instructions found in the Tech section, then I drove the car down and let a professional install the hitch. The guy had all the tools and experience, so why not?

There were a total of 6 bolts securing mine; 4 in the rear of the tire well and two in the bottom...

...removal was a b*tch because the guys that installed it used two carriage bolts for the bottom two (no hex to grab onto on the head of the bolt), so I had to weld on a nut to get some grip. :P

The uhaul hitch for audi is most likely made by Da'Lan

and mine was actually cheaper through uhaul than direct from Da'Lan due to volume.

Installation is pretty straight forward. Have fun locating all those bumper fascia clips!

I believe the UHaul is a different hitch

The Da'Lan that I have is all square tubing, the UHaul hitch that I've seen is round tubing. Not exactly scientific proof, but there's a discrepency.
