Do you have one or the other - or are you looking to buy?
The 2.7t is more like half way between the 530 and the 540. More room, and more bang for buck. Oh, and it will have more consistant performance no matter rain, snow, or dry pavement ;-)

Depends what you want. Are both manuals? Do you want all-wheel drive vs. rear-wheel drive? Both..
are great cars, but you need to decide what you want re: features before making the decision.

This pretty much covers it. Also, if you are adventurous, the 2.7T can be modified to...
... well over 300HP for less than $1,000. You can't do that with a 530.
