Default PaJames's project.

OK so here is some info on the car in question.
2002 A6 3.0 tip quattro. Red with black leather.

I scanned this car with my Vag-Com. had a few engine codes, and 14 alarm codes....I cleared them to see what ones came back, Only one did.I have to order the bentlys, I know, I know, what are ya waitin for... But here is where im at for right now.

01592 Air Quality Sensor G-238, 57-00 electric circut failure
Just what does this sensor do? and where is it located?

Question 2- I turn on the flashers/hazard's, everything works as it should. I use the turn signal, left or right, solid no flash for directionals. do the directionals, and flashers/hazard lights work off one flasher? Or are they seperate wiring?

Question 3- What radio removal tool do I need for the symphony2? is it the pointed (knife blade) keys? or the ones with the T end??

Thank you in advance, James K.

air quality sensor is for the automatic recirulation feature of the climate control. the sensor is located just below the pollen filter

the turn signal problem is caused by the hazard switch. the hazard switch contains the turn signal relay so you have to replace the whole switch which is easy. just pop off the trim around the switch(be careful not to break off the 6 metal clips) and pull the sensor out with either 2 small screwdrivers or pick tools

the radio removal tool would be the knife edge tool

Default 2 of 3 done

got a new hazard switch today, installed it and cured the problem. But before doing that I installed the refurb. radio I bought from ECS. Figured the radio was out made for more room to get to the trim, all 6 clips still like new..got lucky I guess.

Going to get a new cabin filter tomm. and will see if that has anything todo with the other code..

this is just the start, Thanks again guys...
