Audi a6 c5 1998 timing belt problem
Hello friends, I have a problem with the timing. I put the timing belt right in my original position, but after the first start I will go back to the camshaft pulley

Assuming you replaced the roller and the tensioner, are you sure you put the big washer behind the roller/pulley with the raised edge? That washer positions the belt another 1/16" away from the engine. That might be the reason your belt is not flush with the edge of the sprockets. It's easy to forget stuff like that when you get tired.

When you installed the belt, did you free the sprockets?
My suggestion:
-pull the pin, rotate the engine 360 degrees, reinstall the pin.
-leaving the belt in place and tensioned, loosen the bolts for the sprockets 2 turns
-belt still in place, pop the sprockets loose on the cams (using your puller or whatever technique you used when you initially set the timing)
-belt in place, sprockets loose on cams, install the cam lock bar again (use the bar to turn the cams)
-Once bar in is place, re-torque the sprocket bolts starting with bank two (driver's left)
