Default Audi Wont go into drive but will reverse?
Can anyone help my wife was driving my 2000 audi a6 4.2, all of a sudden all the light highlithed on the dash for gears and wont drive it will go into reverse just fine! can anyone please tell me what this is. This is my only transportation for work so need to get it fixed thanks..

That's the only way to do it. VAG-COM is your friend.

I am just wondering if anyone has had the same thing. and could tell me what they did.. I dont know what the vag-com is lol please help

STFA. There is tons of transmission issues. STFA for "VAG-COM" too.

Could be anything from a wet TCU to a wiring issue to low fluid to an internal transmission failure.

Do a little research.
