Battery tray is same across v6/v8 models, correct?

Battery tray is same across v6/v8 models, correct?
I need to replace the oem battery in my 02 3.0q A6 (working great since Feb 02!). I have a feeling it's not going to make it through the Chicago winter. Will a group 49 fit in a narrowbody? My guess is yes? And thanks to BD for the writeup 
I just finished my amp rack and fg sub box install (props to 5speed6's box writeup), so I figure the extra current draw will kill the battery around jan with -5 deg wind chill. Might as well replace it now!
