Default How to check for shorted blower wiring?

Sometimes the AC blower worked fine.
Sometimes it didn't. Even when it didn't work, the display

Turned out it was an intermittent shorted supply wire to the
blower motor. Ever smell a faint electrical burning smell?
I have the same blower problem in my A6... how would I check for this fault? I'm getting an intermittent V2 code. Thanks!

I replaced it and the problem got worse, not better. That's why imI wondering if it's the harness. The old blower didn't have much dust inside and i wondwrewif the previous owner replaced it and gave up.
