I was getting close to my biennial heater core flush and clean so that I have heat this winter (OK triennial since I didn't do it last year and had no heat below 10F degrees). Above 20 degrees, had plenty of heat, below 10 none. Figured it was the balky heater core which I've had cleaned and flushed twice now to get heat back. This weekend, I happened to do a scan after an SRI reset and came up with 00604 - Potentiometer Positioning Motor for Air Flow Flap (G113). Now I'm wondering whether the flap motor could be causing the issue again. Seems to me I had this replaced a long time ago already (at a heck of a cost from Audi due to dash removal to replace the flap motor - like nearly $2K). Most of the threads I've looked at seem to indicate that AC is affected. AC has been fine all season though. Don't feel any temp differential from side to side and last scan in March did not show this code. Can anyone tell me which flap this controls? If it is the one that lets outside air in, I know I've already replaced that to get heat back years ago. At 222K, the C5 is going to need tires, rear brakes, some front end stuff, passenger door latch, and transmission is starting to hard shift on occasion with a 01119 - Gear Recognition Signal code. Maybe more $ than I want to put into the old gal at this point.
