Can a single-DIN concert 1 headunit (cassette only) be swapped out for a single-DIN concert 2 (CD)?

Can a single-DIN concert 1 headunit (cassette only) be swapped out for a single-DIN concert 2 (CD)?
Anyone know if it's plug-n-play, or are the dimensions/interface slightly different?

yes it will work but you need Can-bus adapter
to get illumination , and disable 1 hours turn off
I have mine installed for almost a year, I did hardware modification to get illumination working, I have solder a wire on the board and wired to harness on the connector, instead can-bus adapter,
safe route is the adapter..

Thanks very much - do you know if the dimensions are *exactly* the same?
I'm mostly concerned with depth - I have the icelink ipod adapter installed, and the concert 1 *barely* fits all the way in with the extra wires. It would be very useful if the concert 2 was a bit smaller. Also, I've done some searching, but would you have any recommendations on where to buy the adapter?
