CD Changer plug rectangular?
I just bought my Audi used and it doesn't have a CD changer. I'm looking to put in one, but mine has a rectangular connector instead of the what-seems-to-be-normal 13 pin round connecter. Were Audis made with this kind of connector or is there something strange about my model. I would assume it's the former, but it seems like the only things on ebay are the round connectors and they advertise to be for all Audis within a span of years that include mine.

my '00 has the rectangular connector, and upon further searching I found the round
13 pin connector- mine was up above the CD changer holding bracket and toward the front of the car.
FWIW, the '00s didn't come with changers except as part of a package - - I'm not sure about the '99s.
