coolant leak ques....
ok, i searched on coolant leaks, and it seems like the most likely suspect is the after run pump or whatever.
Without having it checked out, is it possible to determine if thats the problem based on where the coolant is leaking on the ground? it appears on the ground on the passenger side in the front corner of the car. occasionally when the weather was warmer i would smell a little coolant when i got out of the car on a long drive when i would make a pitstop or something.

Grab a flashlight and try to get a glimpse under the intake manifold...
...IIRC, you can look past the driver's side DV and see the top of the engine. If there's dried coolant up there, odds are very good the pump is what's leaking. Alternatively, look at the back of the engine from above and look for coolant blood.

took the car in to have it checked and got the best case scenario. 
leaking from the reservoir's overflow which looks to indicate a faulty cap.
