DIY BT: Coolant Reservoir- Where does the 3rd hose, at the bottom of the reservoir, go?

DIY BT: Coolant Reservoir- Where does the 3rd hose, at the bottom of the reservoir, go?
I have a cracked reservoir, and picking up the replacement. STFA, and followed Paul's instructions, and it came out without any problems.
My only concern is that I can't see where that 3rd hose goes, and if it needs to be attached. I'm thinking it's a 'drain hose', but want to make sure before I put in the new one tonight. The good news is the reservoir goes for $64.00 at the dealer. I was expecting to pay $110 or so per the previous posts.
