DIY PCV Breather System Test?
Is there a DIY way to test the condition of the PCV breather system on a 1999 A6 2.8 30v?
I purchased the vehicle used w/ 200k and the PO took good care, but I am unsure if the system was replaced. The hoses look nice and clean on the inside, but I would like something a bit more definitive.

Carefully disconnect the spider / Valve cover breather hoses from both banks. Then in rear under the throttle body housing. Check for deposit build up and blockage.
If never done also check suction jet pump, hoses and one way valve. ECS sells the whole kit..
Good luck.
