as I remeber seeing it listed in a UK spec. brochure. Not standard on any UK models, can come as a package with heated seats.

It is not standard on all A6 but I know it was an option on my 2001 4.2. -- I like it!!!

Default follow up: has anyone added the heated wheel? Didn't come with...
my 2001 cold weather package. Anyone know if it is pre-wired?

Same here ( same car). I also had it on '98 2.8 as part of some option pkg. or another.)

Default Confirmed, I'm not sure which package, probably cold weather.
Don't know why I got that one, but I sure like those heated seats and wheel on those (brrr) 55 degree days in the middle of winter! ;-)

Default My 2002 2.7T has it.
I'm not sure, but I think that it's part of the heated seats package. Or it's part of the Preferred or Convenience package. Audi's website will probably tell you.

Default Only comes on when outside falls below a certain level and
you have the seat heater turned on.
