Dropped the wife off at the airport this morning so I have her car today.
I am always amazed at how well this car rides and drives at its advanced age and mileage. No squeaks, shimmies, rattles or clunks. Everything works on the car and the paint and leather are in great shape. Just a great car all around.

So it's unlike my A4 then :P. Test driving that A6 yesterday left me very impressed for the same.
|
Yeah, I love my C5, a lot.
|
Take care of your car, they will take care of you.
My wife's car needs news suspension and tires in the fall...but it's been amazingly reliable ('01 Mitsu Eclipse). She wants an A3 for her next car, after last weekends Audi Experience. :P

After owning a C5, the B5 feels like a s#itty little toy by comparison.
fit/finish is so much better.
|
had an a4 before. the first thing that came to mind was room...
lots of it especially in the back. and plus it is not a size of a boat lke the a8 (which i love as well)
|
everytime i drive the usp i realize how far the a4 has come....great little car
although i love the big girl, i might be looking at an a3 or the new a4....decisions....decisions....8^)
|
I also have the wife's car (allroad) today, I wish I could say the same
I noticed a bubble on the right front Eagle F1 (cha-ching) a shimmy at highway speed (probably another bent wheel) and a new ding (one of two on a 6 y/o car and not her fault).
I think I'm going to get her a used suv for her next car so she can run over anything she wants without concern. |
I think the fit/finish on the A4 is pretty close, but I also think there is a difference...
...between the 2.8 and the 1.8 A$.
|
As a Miata owner, I cringe at your last comment.
Just get her something she can see out the back of, please. ;-)
