CAN ANYONE HELP I HAVE A 1998 AUDI A6 MY CHECH ENGINE LIGHT IS ON P0455 EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK DETECTED ( GROSS LEAK/NO FLOW) THANX

STOP YELLING WITH ALL CAPS! First and easiest check is the gas cap. Make sure it is tight and you cannot smell any gas fumes by it.

i did replace the gas cap but no difference the engine light still comes on

Check for visible leaks under the hood. If none found, the probably worth throwing some money at a new purge valve. I've replaced a few of them.
