My passenger mirror motors work up/down & left/right but the mirror does not stay in position. Can this be fixed? The four plastic tabs are holding the glass properly to the mechanism but the mechanism allows the mirror to be easily pushed left/right without minimal resistance.

I am hesitant to try to pull the mirror glass off the mechanism as I imagine those 4 tabs are brittle and will not come off without breaking. Are there repairable parts inside? Or do I have to buy a whole new mirror assembly?
