Pretty car... seems about $5k high to me but they have to start somewhere

agree.

I just don't get Audi not making the amenities S-line ie, steering wheel, seats, and...
brushed aluminum interior trim, which is what was offered in Europe even on the 2.8 S-line?

audi's usually sell for the trade-in price and not the private or retail price...supply and demand

just test drove it
well, the finish had a few scratches and nicks here and there. Not terrible but I don't think they'll just buff out and you won't see them unless you're looking for them (there are about 8-10 of them). When I picked up my 01 CLK55 with 25k on the clock last May there were absolutely no scratches on the paint or on the rims. There are a couple now though, hehe.
Interior was nice, no noticeable wear there for a 2004. The drive was fine although it didn't feel as fast as an 01 2.7T I test drove back in Oct 05. Maybe a second test drive will help that out. I asked the sales guy, who is actually their internet salesman, how long the car has been on their lot and he told me about 2 months. I think he hesitated at first but then maybe he thought I had done my research already and didn't want to lie to me. He told me there was some wiggle room on the price. He also believes it was a corporate return so no problems with a chip being there I'm sure. Most importantly, the car comes with the extended warranty to 2010 or 100k miles. They are asking $36995 but I wonder how low he would drop. He said they normally only keep cars for 1 month so I wonder what will happen to this car. Traded to another dealer perhaps? |
test bump
