First Post - Transmission questions
Have a '01 A6 4.2 33K miles. Here recently, out of a rolling stop, car will slam into 2nd gear. Had the front transmission seal replaced 2k miles ago. Any ideas as to what could be wrong would be appreciated.

Lots of us have that quirk. Was your fluid changed when the seal was replaced?
My slam got milder after a fluid change. Still there, but not as often or severe. I think it is a software problem.
