front brake pad update

Just went with the stock pads and turned the rotors. 8 pads w/sensors $190 parts and labor.

I'm surprisedthey turned your rotors - I thought the A6 OEM rotors were designed for

replacement only, not turning?

That's what Audi recommends - not turning.

I just replace them every other pad change.

Right. They are too thin when new to turn and still be within wear limits.

They machined my rear rotors when I first purchased the car.

With only 1 mm (0.039 in) wear per side, are you sure your turned rotors meet min thickness?
