Default In cold weather (not TX) the cylinders can freeze/crack.

But sounds like either the cylinder or the hose to it is compromised. Another reason I 'deleted' mine...

Thanks. I'm actually in MO (just bought the car out of texas, no salt, etc.). I called the dealership and they think it's just the hose from the cylinder on the driver side to the unit on the passenger side. We'll fin out monday.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Default Not likely, inasmuch as there is no water in the cylinder when not washing. The plumbing thereto is.

rigid plastic pipe, not hose, with a mushy O-ring seal to the cylinder nipple. That O-ring is the failure point. Replace with Si caulk.

Default Ditto: Check the quick release coupling inside the front bumper >

its a little plastic clip (white) on the hose that allows quick disconnect of the hose when removing the front bumper for putting into service position. This may be loose or broken ...its a cheap quick connect and could become easily damaged.

Another waste of time suggestion, inasmuch as the QD coupling is on DS, his leak is on PS.

Default In your Opinion ... once it starts leaking inside the bumper it could run out anywhere

Think about it for a few minutes before shooting down any suggestion ... at least that's what I have found out in past experience when I ended up with my foot in my mouth!

Default Other factors to consider - are you parked on a level surface?

i have found in the case of these cars to not assume anything .....especailly with the flimsy *** connections in either tubing or wiring in these cars ..... very cheap stuff .... guess they had to cut corners somewhere.
