headlights won't come on
I have a 1997 A6 Avant with Quattro. The headlights won't turn on with the car running and the headlight switch in the on position. Instead the warning buzzer for leaving your lights on when ignition is off sounds constantly when headlight switch is in the on position, whether the key is in the off or run position. WTH?
Flash to pass function works. biulbs are good, fuses are good. BTW no power to the two headlight fuses when the headlight switch is on. Its like the ignition switch is not signaling to the buzzer that the ignition switch is in the run position and hence lights won't come on. What relay is opened to shut off the buzzer circuit and closed to allow voltage to the headlight circuit? |

Try the C4 forum. |
