How can something that feels so good be so bad. WOOOOOOOWWWWWwwwwwwwwwww.

ECU is in. Real easy. Starts, idles like it did before. Rolls down the street, chugs a few blocks (warming up). No difference. Short stretch from 20mph (planning a 20-50 run), feels kind of the same up to about 35mph and then........ CCCRRRRRAAAAaaaAAAaaaaAAAAPPPPPPPppppppp!!!

I cannot believe how the car pulls! From 35 MPH on up, it is insane. Forget the stopwatch, the way she pulls, I won't be on 50MPH for more than a split second before I'm doing 70. Sorry, no objective data here.

Now you've done it...where can I find one!?! ;D

Coooooooooooooooool! ;-)

Potomac-Greg 08-25-2004 05:27 PM

We may pass around the one I have. Honestly, what I will probably do...

... is send my ECU and get a "milder" reprogram that will protect my pricey bits, and when that comes back, I'll swap my ECU send you the one I have (but only with the prior consent of it's true owner, Ming 2.7T).

OOOO, sounds good to me! Keep me in mind!

RJP3 08-25-2004 05:37 PM

We done this on one of the watch enthusiast sites...

...passed around some fairly pricey pieces with folks all over the world.

"Try it before you buy it" or "get it out of your system" Either way it works.

Put me on the list!

Nice, I like this forum more and more.

Now who wants to pass around the old RS 6. I want to get it out of my system too :)

ICONCLS 08-25-2004 05:59 PM

It all starts innocently enough...

Peccavis 08-25-2004 06:03 PM

Who does a "milder" reprogramming? Any figures? Thanks.
