sinse the new flash program for GIAC came out their performance gains dont seem so impressive...
does the opinion still stand that GIAC is probablly the strongest chip out there? the stats for their flash loader which they say it the exact same program and performance as their old chip arent looking very impressive compared to what I had read the old chip put out. for example APR does +57hp and +107tq, GIAC does plus 70-80hp but only +85tq. GIAC seems a little unbalanced to me plus that 107 lbs of tq would be nice!!

There shouldn't be a difference between the GIAC chip and the flash. Basically...
... their chip is just a chip that they "flash."
I "borrowed" a GIAC X chip for two weeks and can attest that it is a HUGE boost in power over stock. If the flashloader is less impressive, then maybe there's something else wrong here.
As to the lower torque number, that may be GIAC's effort to save transmissions. The 2.7T transmission is rated for about 310 ft/lbs, and the base motor makes 250 ft/lbs.
It's possible that GIAC has watered down the soup in order to reduce problems with transmissions, turbos and internal plumbing.

I think they are all good. It depends on what you are after and what tuners are close to you.

From what I've been reading around AW it doesn't seem like
the flash gives the same gains as a chip. If it does it delivers it in a different way. Maybe Ming will chime in here.
