Default I'd like to know more about the A8, but frankly can't afford one, so it would be a BAD move

to drive one for a day...I'm afraid I'd really like it.

Default I was offered one on an RS6, but since I knew I wouldn't buy the car, I turned 'em down. Go ahead...

...hit me.

The only sane thing to do is to just...say...no.

Default There are SO many RS6s around @ dealers. I'll bet they didn't sell 900 of the 1300 they got.

My dealer has four. Someone said Prestige in Denver had 14!! And there have been 6-10 on eBay for some time (11 today!), generally half or more of them new at Audi dealers.

RS6 forum post said Audi was getting ready to put "money in the trunk" to move RS6s. Amazing. If AoA hadn't been so greedy in the first place and priced the car where it belonged in the low-to-mid seventies, they'd have all moved through easily by now.

(By the way, I never posted "Why not to buy an RS6"...I posted "Why I am choosing not to buy an Rs6." Big difference.)

Default aahhh - I still remeber it fondly.... Only 1 hour - but:

It made me feel like my regular old 4.2 was just not as good as it was before - took a few weeks to put that bad thought behind me. In fact I had to go spend a couple of hundred bucks and put on a M5 spolier.

If it just wasn't so damn fun to drive it.....

24 hours would probably result in Coilovers and through-the-bumper exhaust!!!!!!

I hate to think of what a week would do to me......
