stop posting annoying edless threads on how to do s hit... seriously, STFA or buy the bentley, if its the top piece in snaps out you ar-tard, and the bottom piece is removed with torx bits

According to my experience there are two screws accessible below the steering column, just forward of the steering wheel. Unscrew these and the upper plastic trim cover can be tilted up and out. The upper section hooks into the lower section nearer the instrument cluster. It may be a tight fit with the steering wheel still in place as you tilt the trim piece.
The lower steering column trim cover will require removal of the steering wheel before you can access two screws securing it to the column (plus one more screw from below).

Yes, two very small but long philips head screws tucked up in there, and you can remove the upper without removing the steering wheel...
