Default "Stick and stones will break my bones, but Audi's will never hurt me."...........

Unless I see a post taking direct shots at the E39 5-series (like the one below from Dr. Death) or the Z3, I have immunity. I hate the new 7-series E65 as well. :-)

I'm told that those 123 electric motors are not 12 volt. 36 or 42 cant remember.

6spd auto. 123 electric motors. Lots of cutting edge stuff. Hmm, sounds like the bleeding edge to me

Default You just might have a point there..........

One of the many reasons I hang around this board is that I see a trend that may be developing. The trend MAY be that Audi is getting stronger while BMW is getting weaker. The new A4 is beautiful while the new 7 sucks, which means the new 5 will likely follow suit.

Although I brag about needing power etc., the main reason I buy a car is how it looks, which placed me with the current 5-series. If, in a few years when I want a new car and the new 5 looks like the new 7, I'll be an Audi buyer- unless something better comes along from MB or even Lexus.
