Default life span of an A6

I have an A6 (1998) with 107,000 miles on it. While there is nothing major wrong with it yet, I am wondering what the average life of one is based on your past experiences. How long have you kept your A6 before trading for the next one....
please post your mileage and year if you want to participate!

Somewhere around 200k fixing it costs more than the entire car is worth, usually.

Default Sold my old Audi at 120,000. You go through a phase where a lot breaks...

... (usually 90-100,000) and then you have a relatively good stretch.

Default Yeah, should easily go 200-250k miles if regular maintenance is followed....

I have a '99 A6; 83,000 miles.

The other four Audi's I own/owned had a cummulative mileage of 660k miles. Just three of those had a cummulative mileage of 590k miles!! All of those Audi's are still running except one that was totaled in a car accident.

Default Unlike Ferraris

which happen to come on the market quite often when the owner finds out that little tune-up he's been putting off will require engine removal and cost about $20-30K!

I got 260K from my 4000 CSQ. I'm planning to get at least 200K from my A6 Avant.
