Default Looking for tools rental Connecticut

Big project ahead TB service, VC gaskets +cam tensioner seal's. Been wonder if it's possible to rent a cam locking tool as wel as cam chain locking tool. Maybe someone in the area would like to borrow one. I know I'm a stranger, but I would leave cash deposit if necessary.
Sincerely
Mike B

All that is needed is whether it is a V6 or V8. Code is overkill.

2.8/2.7T use the same tools.

3.0(v6) and V8 use those horse shoe looking cam locks that slide onto the camshafts themselves one the valve covers are off:

^I'm not sure if there's a specific set for the 3.0 and a separate one for the V8 though.

The V8 uses a pin and bar like the v6. The bar is just longer, pin is the same. The funky horseshoes are for the crappy 3.0 only.

Not sure where you're getting the parts but some online Audi suppliers offer tool rentals with TB service orders.

Jcman I do know that. Unfortunately I use CPI in Hartford as a parts supplier (They been good with all my previous audi's ), but they do not offer tools rental... That's why I posted here, to seek for some friendly help
