Meet Chernobyl- aka Adventures of a village idiot.
Hello everyone!
In the interest of symmetry, I've decided to post a link to the thread I've started over on Audizine detailing my adventures in resurrecting my '02 A6 4.2. I see so many threads started by people wondering if they should buy a C5 A6, and this is potentially a lesson of why you shouldn't, and what it would take to bring one back from total destruction. It's quite a lengthy thread, hence why I didn't want to have to type it out twice.
You can take a look here: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...-village-idiot
Let me know what you guys think!

I figured I would bump this thread, as I have posted many updates on the Audizine thread you see linked here.
Also, a huge thank you to both Tanya from OCLES and Eriksson Transmission... you'll see why when you read the thread!
EDIT- I see Photobucket has decided to blur the images, however if you view the thread on your phone the images show up just fine.

Update!
I now have just over 500 miles on this bad chicken since getting it "done", and it's been pure bliss. I also have a few special goodies in store for a bit later on, so updates will indeed continue as things progress. Make sure to check the thread I linked above if you haven't already... it's a long read, but way worth it IMHO.
PS- Photobucket is still, well, being Photobucket and blurring out the pics... so it's probably best to view it on Tapatalk or on your phone's browser.
