Put it gear and whirlll...no movement. The dealer replacing the entire tranny. He had a bitch of a time getting it out from a 6 story underground garage.

Anyone else experience this?

A friend of mine has an A4 2.8 and had the same problem with the tranny. Pit it in gear and whirllll....no movement. In his case it was simply a transmission that somehow came out of adjustment and was fixed in 15 minutes by readjusting the tranny.
